A day with CountryFile

We do most of our Sculptor communication these days on FaceBook but where we wish to share information about wider issues then this medium remains probably the best for the time being.

We were approached recently by CountryFile who wish to undertake some filming with us about the 'trainees' for a programme that is due to be broadcast on Remembrance Sunday, 12-November-2017 at 18:15.

The crew were Kathryn, John Bannister and John Wetherall - all was set then for Thursday 26-November.  Here are some images of the day, some of which are © BBC.

Sculptor work day 27-January-2017

A mid-winter work party on a Friday to lift the shutts and sweep out the hold of Sculptor. The cloths have done a good job of keeping things so much dryer than previously although there was some condensation and one or two of the shutts looked quite damp.  They will air well where they are now. The little 'holes' that go through the keelson were cleaned out as best as possible.
